INTERNATIONAL PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT COLLOQUIUM

Critically understanding practice development

The international pd colloquim is a co-operative inquiry of partners from healthcare and educational organisations in the UK, Holland and Australia.

The international pd colloquium's key principles are:

•  to provide a supportive, sustainable and nourishing structure

•  to draw together, weave and refine and polish different concepts from multiple sources

•  to work as an effective team

•  to commit to working as a collective and in the five idiogroups (i.e. Critical Creativity, Culture, Evaluation, Enablement & Discourse)

•  to produce multiple products as outcomes of the colloquium (and from the five idiogroups)

•  to communicate with transparency (i.e. use language that is clear and used with a spirit of openness)

•  to be authentic, genuine and respect individual contributions

•  to promote human flourishing personally and as a collective

This site provides a venue for colloquium members to share and critique work dedicated to deepening our understandings of practice development through critically creative practice, learning and research. For further information, please contact: kate.sanders@fons.org
