Leading experts from Ireland and the US will highlight the vital contribution of nursing in promoting positive ageing for older people at the All Ireland Gerontological Nurses Association's Fifth Annual Conference.

 

The theme of the conference, to be held in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dundalk on May 30, is Helping Older People To Flourish In Different Care Settings – The Nursing Contribution.

 

Among the keynote speakers will be Professor Barbara Bowers, Dean of Research at the University of Wisconsin Nursing School who is an expert in person-centred nursing home culture change.

CCIO Annual Nursing Conference

Last year the CCIO leaders network ran a great event for nurses, midwives and health visitors and the event was a great success.  As a result they have decided to run a similar event this year on 13th June, in London, in collaboration with the RCN.
