NETWORKING & SHARING Nursing Networks FoNS recognises the value of networking opportunities for nurses, midwives and specialist community public health nurses and has been actively involved in supporting and promoting a number of professional networks. If you would like us to include a nursing and/or healthcare related network on this page, please contact: admin@fons.org *** FoNS Developing Practice Subscribers Area In January 2008, the Developing Practice Network became fully integrated into FoNS to create the FoNS Developing Practice Subscribers Area. This new and exciting initiative provides all healthcare practitioners who are interested in developing practice to improve patient care easy access to networking and sharing opportunities as well as tools, publications and many other resources. You may be working clinically, in education or in research; in any healthcare setting and in any country (we currently have subscribers from the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Australia and the USA). No specific level of knowledge, skills or experience is required as the purpose of this community is to support and enable learning from and with others. Click on the link above to find out more or contact subscribe@fons.org *** Other networks previously supported by FoNS Consultant Nurse Network National Association of Educators in Practice (evolved from the National Lecturer Practitioner Forum in 2004) National HIV Nurses' Association (NHIVNA) National Network for Learning Disability Nurses (NNLDN) *** Other networks of interest: Professional and Practice Development NMAHP Forum for Scotland
