Victoria Lintin

Lead Paediatric Nurse and Service Lead for Complex Health and Disability

Hi, I’m Vicky a registered children’s nurse, I qualified in 2004, spending the majority of my career to date working within children’s community nursing. I have developed a passion for enabling early discharge and delivering care to children in their home or community setting.  I believe in supporting children, and young people to spend as much time as they can with friends and family when they are unwell, or require acute nursing interventions, adapting to ensure usual routines are not disrupted.

I have been fortunate to work in supportive Trusts that have encouraged my professional development. I’ve progressed from diploma to degree and, most recently, to master’s level education.  These opportunities have allowed me to grow into leadership roles, first leading a single team, and now, in my current role of overseeing five community teams that deliver a range of care to children and young people in the community.

I am excited to begin the Person-Centred Cultures programme as part of my ongoing leadership development. I see this as a valuable opportunity to strengthen compassionate leadership, both in myself and in those I work alongside.  I feel exceptionally lucky to be part of this programme and look forward to being challenged in my thinking, sharing the learning and enhancing the quality of care for children through strong person-centred leadership across my teams, my organisation and wider stakeholders.
