FoNS Supporting Nurse-led Clinics
The Foundation of Nursing Studies (FoNS) has been a supporter of the annual Nurse Clinics Conference for many years. Part of our charitable remit is to advocate for nurses and nursing as well as being the ‘go to’ organisation for nurses who want to develop more person-centred cultures within their workplace.
How can we support nurses running nurse-led clinics?
Programmes
Resilience-based Clinical Supervision (RBCS) is a great way to develop resilience and support within your team. It’s a form of restorative clinical supervision, which focuses on the ‘emotional systems motivating the response to a situation’ and includes elements of mindfulness-based exercises with a view to ‘enhancing wellbeing, resilience and improving care’.
We offer a champion and cascade programme that will enable you to deliver clinical supervision – ‘open to all’ programmes start regularly, and you can find out more on the RBCS Programme pages.
