The FoNS Person-centred Cultures Development Programme; What do you need to do?

It’s now a little under a month until the deadline for applications for this unique programme, which aims to support leaders of teams at the point of care, in any health or social care setting, anywhere in the UK to grow person-centred cultures in their workplace.

We welcome applications from diverse backgrounds

What does the programme include?

The programme includes in-person and online learning blocks (workshops) starting in September 2025 and ending in May 2026. In between the sessions, there are opportunities to collaborate with other participants and contact the FoNS facilitator for reflection, support and to sound out ideas. All this is fully funded, thanks to thoughtful funding from the Burdett Trust for Nursing.

What steps do you need to take?

You need support from within your organisation to release you to attend the sessions, to have time to plan and work with your team and to implement changes in practice. This means having conversations with your line manager and your executive level nurse. This internal support is essential to be able to really get the most out of the programme. But it needn’t be daunting, let your passion for change and improvement shine through!

Where to find more information?

We have drop in sessions which Giselle (the programme lead) is hosting. She’ll tell you about the programme in more detail and there is an opportunity to ask questions. Dates and links are on the Person-centred Cultures Programme pages

Places are limited on the programme but if you don’t apply, you’ll never know!
