Ideas from specialist nurses

We shared the case-studies with clinical nurse specialists from different areas (respiratory nursing, neurological nursing, occupational health nursing, rare-diseases nursing, cancer nursing and mental-health nursing) to find out how they would care for the people in the case-studies. We drew together their ideas and sent them to another group of specialists who had taken part in an international meeting about Long Covid, for checking. Once this was done we formulated this table showing the evidence they used to formulate the ideas too. This will help nurses to have confidence in the ways they care for people with Long Covid and expand the evidence-base for practice.
