Dr Elaine Maxwell

Elaine has worked as a clinical nurse, an Executive Director of Nursing and a Non-Executive Director in NHS Trusts. Following her PhD, she worked in a number of academic roles. Elaine was scientific advisor at the NIHR Dissemination Centre and the Centre for Engagement and Dissemination until October 2021, when she joined the panel of the statutory Public Inquiry into abuse at Muckamore Abbey Hospital in Northern Ireland.
